Hello Friends and Members,
This week will be the 23rd delivery for the year. Next week will be the last delivery for the Summer Quarter. We're still waiting for a few renewals for the Fall Quarter which will begin Sept. 2nd.
Livestock still doing well in spite of the heat. We've had to continue feeding hay. They were doing some grazing after the rain showers we had last week. But now they're not interested in the ash/soot covered forage and instead come running for the Hay! They're all still in great condition because of the hay. Here's a photo from last week
Just took three beef to the CNJ Processor. Met several members picking up their Pork from the delivery to the Processor I made three weeks ago. Some new produce varieties maturing now so looking good for the Fall Program. Meat inventory well stocked also.
Thank you again to everyone for coming early to beat the heat! SO still has to work very early mornings to beat the heat when gardening too. Let's take a look at the items planned for deliveries this week.
Micro greens mix, Lettuce Salad Mix, Kale, Collard Greens, Swiss Chard, Sesame Leaves, Daikon Greens, Napa Cabbage, Potatoes, Rhubarb, Squash, Cucumbers, Salad Onions/Leeks, Herb-Thyme, Beet Greens, Garlic, Garlic Chives, Eggs
Variety of Meats:
Chicken, Ground Beef, Beef Steak, Beef Short Ribs, Ham Steaks, Ground Sausage, Stir Fry item.
