Rocky Ridge Ranch Newsletter - Apr 26
Hello Members & Friends,
Not much new going on this week. I'm slowly improving a little from the last Covid Vac. side effects but still some issues.
Did some more fence work. Picked up additional fence supplies with more sticker shock from the increased prices. What I read on agriculture products predicts price increases on about everything. Delivered two pigs to the Processor. We check on the cows everyday from AM - PM to make sure they're staying in the new pasture. Plan to move them again in a couple days. Replaced a freezer that conked out in the sorting room cabin we call it. Grandson was a big help again!
Worked on the outdoor garden cultivation between the windstorms and rain. SO has a lot of started plants to put in the ground. Also have the seed potatoes to put in and get going. By next week there should be a lot of planting happening, though still waiting for some produce seed to arrive. Grass and alfalfa having a nice growth spurt.
Have had a few new Members sign up for the Summer Session. We welcome them!
Let's see what is planned for this weeks delivery:
Micro Greens Mix, Salad Lettuce Mix, Spinach, Swiss Chard, Daikon Greens, Salad Onions & Leeks, Garlic Chives, Herb-Lemon, Beets, Carrots, Potatoes, Squash, Onion and Eggs.
Variety of Meats:
Chicken, Ground Beef, Beef Steak Cutlets, Beef Soup Item, Pork Ribs, Ground Pork, Pork Chops, Bacon
Looking forward to seeing you all soon. Be well!
